Position Overview
As the Engagement Specialist, you serve as the first point of contact for every prospective partner and client. You own the complete initial funnel—from the moment a prospect notices the brand to the moment they are on the calendar for a qualification call.
Prospects engage through podcasts, webinars, social posts, live events, and direct outreach. Your mission is to reach out rapidly, spark genuine conversations, and book qualified prospects for portfolio analysis calls ("Punch List" reviews). Following meetings, you ensure NDAs and property data are collected promptly to keep operations moving on schedule. You will leverage scripts, workflows, and cutting-edge AI tools with urgency and discipline. This seat is built for growth—top performers routinely transition into direct sales roles.
Primary Relationships
Reports to: GTM & Partnerships Lead
Supports: Company Principals running portfolio analysis calls (prepares background briefs for every call).
Collaborates with: Content Manager (who logs social media engagement into HubSpot) and internal Investment/Technology teams.
External Engagement: Builds authentic relationships with property owners, operators, podcast guests, and their executive teams.
Essential Responsibilities
1. Speed to Lead & Engagement
Reply to every inbound lead, warm introduction, and positive response within one business hour.
Execute daily engagement outreach by messaging qualified ideal client profiles who like, comment on, or share content.
Run structured LinkedIn and email cadences; log all interactions in HubSpot the same day.
Follow up with webinar attendees fitting the target client profile within 48 hours.
Coordinate post-interview sharing kits for podcast guests while requesting referrals and reviews.
2. Meeting Generation & Qualification
Qualify each prospect against strict client profile standards prior to scheduling.
Book qualification calls, confirm appointments, and take ownership of meeting show rates.
Prepare brief briefing notes for call hosts prior to each scheduled meeting.
Nurture non-qualified leads by routing them to educational resources (podcasts, newsletters, webinars) for future follow-up.
3. Pipeline Management
Immediately issue NDAs and data requests once a prospect agrees to a portfolio analysis call.
Track document and data collection via persistent email and phone follow-up.
Escalate uncollected data to the GTM & Partnerships Lead if pending beyond 5 business days.
4. CRM Operations & Performance Tracking
Maintain total data hygiene in HubSpot: ensure every contact has an accurate source and open deals have documented next steps.
Record call outcomes and pipeline stage updates the same day they occur.
Review daily performance metrics (reply time, conversations started, meetings held, show rates, data collection turnarounds).
Participate in Call Lab (the internal training program), actively taking feedback within 24 hours to refine sales execution.
Who You Are
Fast & Relentless: You act with urgency—answering communications today, not tomorrow.
Accountable: You own your conversion numbers without making excuses.

Disciplined Communicator: You possess excellent written and spoken English skills and feel comfortable communicating on phone/video with senior real estate executives.
Tech-Forward: You are eager to use AI tools to work smarter and view this role as a stepping stone into a long-term sales career.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: 1–3 years in sales development (SDR), inside sales, client success, or outbound business-to-business (B2B) communications.
Language Skills: Fluent written and spoken English required (Spanish fluency is a plus).
Tech Stack: Hands-on experience with CRMs (preferably HubSpot), LinkedIn, email automation, and scheduling platforms. Familiarity with AI tools is highly preferred.
Industry Interest: Interest in real estate, finance, or prop-tech (prior industry experience is a plus, but not required).
Location: Must be based in Mexico City, working out of the client's local office.
Equipment: Must have a personal laptop/computer (BYOD) for daily work.
Pre-Hire Assessment: All candidates complete a Culture Index survey prior to the first interview to evaluate role alignment.
Travel: Occasional travel to U.S. industry conferences or events may be required (1–2 times per year).
