About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly driven Regional Manager to oversee the operational performance of a growing portfolio of 22+ manufactured housing communities across the United States.
This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who understands that successful community management requires more than maintaining properties—it requires strong people leadership, financial discipline, operational accountability, and a commitment to resident experience.
The Regional Manager will lead and support Park Managers across the portfolio, ensuring communities operate efficiently, meet financial and operational targets, maintain company standards, and continuously improve. You will serve as a key connection between property-level teams and senior leadership, identifying opportunities, addressing challenges, and driving consistent execution across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
Oversee the day-to-day performance and operations of a portfolio of approximately 8–12 manufactured housing communities within the assigned region.
Ensure communities consistently meet company operational standards, goals, and performance expectations.
Establish and implement best practices to improve operational efficiency, profitability, and resident satisfaction.
Identify operational challenges and develop practical solutions to improve property performance.
Maintain consistent communication with Park Managers and leadership regarding priorities, challenges, and opportunities.
People Leadership & Team Development
Lead, coach, and develop Park Managers, providing clear expectations, ongoing feedback, and performance support.
Build a culture of accountability, ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Establish measurable goals for property-level teams and hold managers accountable for results.
Identify training needs and help develop team members into stronger operational leaders.
Promote a people-first approach while maintaining high performance standards.
Performance & Accountability
Monitor community performance through key performance indicators (KPIs), financial metrics, occupancy, collections, maintenance, and resident-related metrics.
Conduct regular operational reviews and audits to ensure consistency and compliance.
Analyze performance trends and proactively address underperforming communities.
Develop and execute action plans to improve performance where needed.
Ensure company policies, procedures, and operational standards are consistently followed.
Financial Management
Oversee regional budgets and ensure communities achieve established financial targets.
Monitor rent collections, delinquency, expenses, and overall property-level financial performance.
Review and approve expenses in accordance with company guidelines.
Identify cost-saving opportunities while protecting the quality and long-term value of each community.
Partner with leadership on financial forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis.
Property Maintenance & Capital Improvements
Oversee property maintenance, repairs, landscaping, preventive maintenance, and overall community appearance.
Ensure maintenance issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
Prioritize capital improvement projects based on operational needs, resident experience, and long-term asset value.
Coordinate with property teams and vendors to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to established standards.
Maintain a proactive approach to preserving and improving community assets.
Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure communities operate in compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
Oversee required documentation, permits, inspections, and operational records.
Identify potential compliance and operational risks and address them proactively.
Ensure property-level teams understand and follow applicable policies and regulations.
Resident Relations
Promote a positive, professional, and responsive resident experience across the portfolio.
Support Park Managers in resolving escalated resident concerns and complex issues.
Encourage open communication and strong relationships between management teams and residents.
Help foster communities that are well-maintained, welcoming, and professionally managed.
Strategic Planning & Reporting
Align regional operational goals with broader company objectives and growth strategies.
Provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership on portfolio performance.
Use financial and operational data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Contribute to strategic decision-making through forecasting, analysis, and recommendations.
Support the continued growth and operational scalability of the portfolio.
