About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Golang Engineer to join a high-impact team responsible for designing and building scalable backend systems. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in microservices, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure.
This position is strictly limited to candidates currently based in Buenos Aires, with availability to work onsite 3 to 5 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop backend services using Golang
Build and scale microservices architectures
Develop and maintain RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
Work closely with US-based teams on product and technical initiatives
Implement event-driven architectures and real-time data processing
Ensure system performance, scalability, and reliability
Contribute to architecture decisions and system design
Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines
Troubleshoot complex production issues
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in backend development
Strong experience with Golang
Experience with microservices and distributed systems
Solid understanding of API design (REST/GraphQL)
Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Familiarity with Kafka or event streaming systems
Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases (Redis, MongoDB, etc.)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Advanced English (required for daily collaboration with US teams)
Nice to Have
Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code
Familiarity with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus)
Experience in high-scale or enterprise environments
Previous experience mentoring or leading engineers
