Junior Financial & Operations Analyst
Remote from Latin America | Contractor Role
Department: Asset Management & Operations
Reports To: Financial & Operational Compliance Coordinator
💵 $1,500 USD monthly | Bi-weekly base payments
🏝️ PTO: 10 days per year (accrual-based) | 🇺🇸 U.S. holidays off
🩺 Health insurance bonus: ~$100/month
🕒 Monday–Friday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM ET (1-hour lunch) + Saturday: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM ET
About the Role
This role supports a growing asset management and operations team within a real estate-focused organization that manages a diversified property portfolio. The Junior Financial & Operations Analyst plays a key role in ensuring financial and operational data is accurate, timely, and well-organized to support informed decision-making.
This is a hands-on, execution-focused position, ideal for someone early in their finance or operations career who enjoys working with data, reconciling information across systems, and supporting recurring financial workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Data Extraction & Reporting
Generate and download weekly and monthly financial and operational reports
Compile raw data into standardized Excel templates to track property performance and expense trends
Support budget tracking and variance analysis across the portfolio
Transform raw data into clean, professional reports and internal presentations
Financial Operations Support
Perform routine audits to ensure system entries align with established SOPs
Follow up with property managers or vendors to resolve discrepancies
Support delinquency tracking workflows and reporting
Assist with accounts payable reconciliation and invoice processing
Data Integrity & Systems
Monitor data synchronization across financial and property management systems (e.g., Yardi, Coda)
Assist with basic system administration and continuous improvements to reporting workflows
Maintain organized file structures, documentation, and audit trails
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data manipulation)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage recurring deadlines
Familiarity with AI tools for productivity and data analysis
Preferred
Experience with property management or accounting systems (Yardi, AvidXchange, or similar)
Experience with automation tools (Make.com, Zapier, or similar)
Exposure to real estate, multifamily operations, or property finance
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
