Job Title: Construction Accountant
Location: Remote From Latin America
Contract Type: International Contractor
Monthly Compensation: $2,100–$2,300 USD (based on experience)

Latino Legends is proud to partner with a dynamic and growing construction company in the U.S. to find a Construction Accountant who is detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about continuous learning. This is an exciting remote opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to work with a highly collaborative and forward-thinking leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable/receivable, job cost accounting, and cash flow management.

• Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal accounting controls and financial reporting systems.

• Supervise and manage accounts receivable progress billings in accordance with project-specific contract terms.

• Review AR aging reports and assist with timely collections.

• Coordinate and process payments to vendors and subcontractors while ensuring lien waivers are collected.

• Monitor and manage daily cash balances and ensure liquidity requirements are met.

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements for accuracy and compliance.

• Collaborate with ownership to develop and manage annual and project-specific budgets.

• Maintain and update construction contract schedules and oversee monthly job cost reports.

• Support the leadership team in strategic planning and financial forecasting.

• Prepare, analyze, and present financial and management reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.

• CPA or CMA certification is a plus.

• Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience, preferably with U.S.-based companies.

• Prior experience in the construction industry is strongly preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of construction accounting principles and job cost accounting.

• High proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

• Must be comfortable working independently in a remote environment and capable of thriving in a team setting.

Additional Information

• Work Schedule: Full-time, 8 AM to 5 PM (Mountain Time), with lunch and breaks included.

• Payment Method: ACH (Automated Clearing House transfer).
