Position: Financial Analyst & Reporting Specialist
Location: Remote from Latin America (Full-Time)
Industry: Business Consulting (Fractional CFO Services)
Schedule: 40 hours per week | Monday–Friday | Mountain Time (U.S.) | 1-hour daily lunch break
Compensation: $2000-$3000/month based on experience.
About the Opportunity
Latino Legends is collaborating with a dynamic business consulting firm that provides high-level Fractional CFO services to 7- and 8-figure businesses. We’re seeking a Financial Analyst & Reporting Specialist who excels in financial reporting, analysis, and strategic insight. This is a an execution-focused role ideal for an experienced financial professional who thrives in a remote environment and wants to have a direct impact on business outcomes.
What You’ll Do
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting actionable insights.
Conduct variance analysis to surface trends, risks, and opportunities.
Maintain and enhance KPI dashboards (Fathom experience is a plus).
Translate complex financial data into practical, strategic recommendations.
Monitor client financial health to guide growth initiatives.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Cash Flow
Assist with creating and managing annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
Build models to assess profitability, cost structures, and revenue patterns.
Analyze and optimize cash flow, and conduct scenario planning.
Accounting & Operational Excellence
Ensure financial record accuracy and maintain financial controls.
Use accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) for data management.
Recommend and implement improvements in financial systems and processes.
Stay aligned with GAAP and best practices in financial operations.
Strategic Financial Support
Provide insights to support cost savings and revenue optimization.
Identify inefficiencies and suggest actionable improvements.
Collaborate with leadership to align financial reporting with strategic goals.
Prepare and deliver financial presentations for internal use.
Teamwork & Ownership
Operate as a key team member contributing strategic financial input.
Take full ownership of deliverables—reports, models, and forecasts.
Communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
Work effectively across teams and time zones during US business hours.
Who We’re Looking For
3+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or financial reporting within a U.S.-based company.
Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
Skilled in QuickBooks, Xero, and Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas, models).
Familiarity with Fathom or similar tools preferred—but quick learners welcome.
Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
Proactive and independent—comfortable identifying and acting on opportunities.
Strong communicator who can simplify complex data.
Must be available Monday to Friday during Mountain Time U.S. business hours (40 hours per week, with a 1-hour lunch break).
