Senior Data Engineer (Remote - LATAM)

📍 Location: Remote from Latin America
💼 Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM EDT
💰 Salary: $4,500 USD/month

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Snowflake
• Improve data ingestion, transformation, and integration workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data solutions with business goals
• Create analytics dashboards and visualizations using Power BI
• Continuously optimize existing infrastructure, identify opportunities for automation and efficiency
• Monitor system performance using Azure Monitor and App Insights
• Handle complex data challenges with minimal oversight and proactive solutions

Must-Have Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on Data Engineering experience
• Advanced proficiency in Databricks, Spark, Python, SQL Server
• Experience with relational databases (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL), including stored procedures and SSIS packages
• Background in API-based ingestion, streaming methods, and BigQuery
• Proficient in data telemetry tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, App Insights)
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT workflows

Preferred (Bonus) Skills

• Experience with Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, and Power BI
• Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies, data lakes, and governance frameworks
• Prior exposure to machine learning pipelines is a plus
